I played this song over and over again, but I didn't cry...I was crying pun during potong bawang sebab nak masak nasi minyak.  . Actually I don't want to make hubby feels bad, I knew if I nag and cry and show my sadness he will feel guilty. So I've tried my best to cheer my family up.  Alhamdulillah, everything goes well.
I cooked our santapan hari raya during malam raya, then woke up early to prepare the kids for sembahyang raya at the embassy. Firstly kesian nak kejut the kids, but then because it's raya, i kejutkan them, mandi sunat aidilfitri and cepat2 pakaikan their baju raya..but then baru I found out the kids punya seluar takde getah! OMG, tension!...pagi2 tu nak cepat pergi sembahyang raya, then i nak kena mencari tali untuk masukkan dalam seluar 2 budak ni...it took about half an hour! We tak sempat nak makan dulu before pergi sembahyang, but terus pergi embassy. Nasib baik sempat but dalam rakaat kedua. 
I remember since I was smaller my parents will prepare everything during raya. I just tolong sikit2, but then tahu2 everything dah ready, just sibuk nak melawa pakai baju raya and barang kemas my mom yang besar2 during raya. Now I knew and learn how to be responsible for your family to make sure everything is ready during hari raya...Pressure jugak, and reallllyyy tiring!  But I am very happy when I knew they were very happy.
After sembahyang raya at the embassy, we went home, bermaaf-maafan and makan my nasi minyak together. After that, we called Malaysia using skype. Then we went to Tuya's house...byk giler foods!!! Then balik rumah I masak satay and nasi impit, after Marghrib pergi rumah Zira (ada laksa johor and soto ayam, yummeh!) then balik rumah coz Tuya and Kak Sadie nak datang rumah...we served our guests until almost 1am! Macam ini la orang cakap beraya sakan! Duduk jauh takde saudara mara, but nasib baik we got friends yg dah macam saudara mara terdekat. At least terubat jugak, kan?

Kisah Over...eh, Hover....oppss Hoover!

It happened 2 days before raya
Plan nak membersih rumah for Hari Raya, but then hubby ajak pergi Dubai mencari Hoover. One thing I hate about Abu Dhabi, the mall mostly selling outdated home appliances. Reminded me time nak mencari the breadmaker...susah! So, B lebih rela drive to Dubai to get the latest appliances and we found one in Emax Oasis Mall!
The next day together we all out membersih rumah using the iRobot and Hoover (Carpet Washer and Wet Vacuum Cleaner). If I am using the normal mop, we recycled the same dirt water kan...but with hoover, it got 2 storage, one for clean water, the other one to store the dirt water. It also got a rotating brush to be used to clean the carpet...Now my house is sparkling clean, yay!

No big preparations, all simple2...Beraya di perantauan of course tak sama dgn tempat sendiri kan...Anyway, I am making sure everything is in place, except my baju raya belum siapp!!! I thought Eid gonna be on 20th, but high probability over here on 19th!
Lusa!!! And I told the tailor baju I nak ambil on 19th, boleh tak? Sah2 kedai tutup if Raya...

This was the first time we went to Bazaar Ramadhan in Abu Dhabi. Ayam Pandan Kak Sadie and Pengat Pisang Ian were the best!!! Mula2 thought nak join jadi penjual jugak, but since I takde maid and byk kerja nak buat esp with my chores, business and the kids, tak dapatla nak join jadi penjual...but I'm having fun jadi pembeli! Siap dapat isi survey form lagi.

Dubai Hey, Dubai Yo!

Malas nak open banyak2 entry, so here go the stories:
1. Iftar in Chillis, Dubai - 1st time we had iftar outside the house / room. Tak best, bising! And nasib baik we jadi musafir...tak payah nak rush.
2. Bawak my kids to Toys'r'us - They were very excited!
3. The next day we went to Dubai Mall...I thought nak cari white patent shoes to match my Eid bag, but then I forgot!!! Also nak cari bekas biskut raya but then we didn't find anything that we like.  So I spent my budget on books and iPhone extra battery - Nothing got to do with Eid pun .

Satayyyyyyyy Abu Dhabi and Float

Teringin nak berbuka makan satay and A&W root beer float...we found the A&W root beer at spinneys, but the satay?? Nak cari kat mana kat Abu Dhabi ni? Masak sendiri ler jawabnya...
and After 1 and a half day cooking, siap!!! Jadi kisah lamanya nak kena masak sebab nak perap...satay perap kejap2 tak best kan.

Semperna bulan yg baik dan mulia, I think I should also write renungan untuk diri saya dan kita bersama...
Mengadu Domba (Namimah)
An-Namimah is a hated and evil behavior that should be exposed and warned against. It means to convey calumnies or speech from one person to another, from one group to another, from one tribe to another, etc., to spread division and disputes between people.
It entails exposing what is hated by the involved party, the one who receives this news or a third party. This includes conveying An-Namimah with the tongue, by writing or by thinly veiled description or body movements, whether the speech or actions that are being exposed entail ill-descriptions of the exposed person or not.
The Muslim is obliged to always keep silent regarding what he sees or uncovers of people’s secrets, except when warranted by a benefit that will be brought to a Muslim or to fend off an evil. The driving force behind An-Namimah is either to cause harm to the exposed person, to show affection to the person receiving the Namimah, to indulge in a type of speech that one prefers, or to indulge in joyful and heedless play. All this is prohibited for Muslims. Further, it is the obligation of all those receiving the Namimah to refuse to accept it as a factual. This is because the Nammam (one who indulges in An-Namimah) is called Fasiq (sinner or rebellious), and thus his testimony must not be accepted.
Allah said, what translated means, "O you who believe! If a Fasiq comes to you with a news, verify it, least you harm people in ignorance. [49:6]". Also, Muslims
should forbid the Nammam from indulging in Namimah and warn him against its harmful effect, for Allah said, what translated means, "And enjoin righteousness and forbid evil.[31:17]." Also, Muslims must hate this behavior from the Nammam and not suspect the backbitten person, "Avoid much suspicions, indeed some suspicions are sins.[49:12]." Furthermore, the Messenger of Allah said, what translated means, “Avoid suspi- cion, for suspicion is the most false speech.” [Al-Bukhari & Muslim].
Furthermore, the Muslim must not try to investigate what he has heard from the Nammam, so as not to fall into what he has forbidden the Nammam from, by conveying what he heard from the Nammam to others while trying to investigate the matter.

Mengadu Domba (Namimah) dalam Islam disebut sebagai suatu dosa dan perkara yg patut dijauhi. Maksudnya memindahkan perbuatan seseorang kepada orang yang dibicarakan itu dengan suatu tujuan untuk menimbulkan permusuhan antara sesama manusia, mengotori kejernihan pergaulan dan atau menambahkan keruhnya pergaulan.
Setiap muslim dan muslimat diwajibkan menjauhkan diri dari semua sebab yang menimbulkan kebencian dan perbalahan di antara sesama mereka. Terutama daripada orang yang selalu mengadu domba kerana ia boleh melumpuhkan kekuatan mereka. Disebutkan di dalam sebuah hadis yang diriwayatkan dari sahabat Huzaifah r.a. bahawa tatkala dia mendengar ada seorang lelaki suka mengadu domba lalu dia berkata saya pernah mendengar Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda yang bermaksud : ‘ Tidak akan masuk syurga orang yang suka mengadu domba ‘.
Sesungguhnya sebagai umat yg lemah, Ya Allah, jauhkanlah diriku daripada sifat Namimah ini. Amin.
