The living cost in Abu Dhabi is high mostly because of the accomondation. Alhamdulillah, hubby's company sponsored the house rent so we didn't feel the pressure to cover the rental cost. Hubby's entitlement is quite high, if compared to Malaysian Etihad pilot, their entitlement is less 50K per year than hubby. So, some of them need to top up the house rental with their salary.

Well, because of the high accomondation price, the hotels here are also quite expensive. The exclusive hotels will be even more expensive. Burj al-Arab and Madinat Jumeirah are among of those exclusive hotels in the UAE. Words of mouth said, if you want to enter the hotel lobby, u need to give around RM100 tips. So, it's kinda "too exclusive to visit".

Terror tak I ambil gambar?

The authentic re-creation of an ancient Arabic marketplace, Souk Madinat Jumeirah which is located in the heart of Madinat Jumeirah has now opened its doors to the public. So we can have the feeling of how exclusive this place it is. The souk looks like an Arabic castle. When we walked through the meandering pathways, we felt like we were in the Arabian ancient place, inside the story of Ali Baba Bujang Lapuk or Sinbad or Alladin. Nice!!! A truly exotic experience!

I round this whole place while waiting for hubby and sat at the "nice scenery corner" in Starbucks while sipping my favourite java chip frappucino. Then Izz was sleepy and slept on the couch and I took this time to play my PSP.

The "nice scenery corner"

"Waiter, java chip frappucino satu!" Pandai anak mama buat lagak dia ye..

Izz posing macam-macam gaya kat starbucks

Hubby came and told me he saw Dome cafe at the front of the souk. Then I persuaded him to eat there since I missed my favourite "Dome Chiken and Mushroom Pie" so much. It reminds me the time when I was 7 months pregnant and I went for the CCNA course near KLCC. It was a 5-days course and everyday it finished early. So everyday I had to wait for hubby to finish working in KLCC. I can't resist the temptation of the Dome Chicken and Mushroon pie so everyday I ate there alone, while waiting for hubby. Hehehe..kopak that month.

Izz at Dome..Can u spot the difference in this picture?

Ok, back to the story - We ate there nyum nyum then we go round again to take pictures but the camera was ran out of battery. Ouch, we were so unlucky, only can snap a few pictures. Anyway, we round2 again, we entered the ELC, Plug-ins, here also got theaters, saw some unique items then we called for the taxi limo, then balik. We came by Nissan Altima, balik by Toyota Camry...sini senang, takyah drive..call je, driver datang.
