<title>The truly Naked Chef!</title>
<description>Of course I can't beat Jamie Oliver-the author of the book The Naked Chef. But i learned some ways of cooking esp the kerabu sotong (or they called it the squid salad) and thai beef salad from his show. Yummy!

We went to the Meena Fish market because we have longed to eat fresh seafood like in Muara. We went in the early morning, heret the kids pergi beli fish at the market. Bestnya tgk all the fresh fishes! My hubby said I went shopping the fishes macam I shopping kains! hehehe... Next agenda I can't wait to cook all of it...

I think that's the most satisfying lunch we've ever had!! My hubby and his friend makan banyak sgt ok! I pun kenyang sampai tak larat. Now dah tak rindu kat Muara dah. :-D

<title>Oh Dubai, Oh Applebee's</title>
<description>I'm soooooo bz right now. My daily maid dah gone so now I have to handle everything. Sometimes menyesal sewa semi penthouse, coz I've got too much space nak kena sapu. Luckily ada http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roomba(Roomba). I love u Roomba!

Back to the main title, we went to Dubai and as usual the guys wanted to see the gadgets. I dunno what's really going on with guys nowadays. Gadgets, gadgets, gadgets. So off we went to the Sharaf DG, Dubai's biggest IT and electronics superstore at Times Square. Thank God ada Toys'R'Us, because I dah naik muak coz everytime going out with orang IT savvy ni, mesti stop dekat kedai gadget! LOL

Then, because they have promised me they will bring me to Applebee's later on made me just can't wait! I still remember the juicy steak in Applebee's in Doha.....heaven! :P Let me recap you with the picture below:

Hihihi, but by the time I sampai Applebee's, my camera was out of battery. :-S Sedey...I have to take pictures using my iphone...so takdela nak ambil gambar steak yg lagi menarik macam kat Doha. ;-) I was so happy dapat makan steak at Applebee's, so I dah boleh tahan nanti nak puasa sebulan. But I can't stop thinking bila lah kat Malaysia nak buka Applebee's? Because for me between TGIF, Chillis, Fuddruckers, Tony Roma's, Applebee's is no 1! If we back for good nanti I surely will miss the taste of the juicy Applebee's steak...huhuhuhu  Oh, and because I was so happy, I paid for the bills! hihihi...and the guys was like hey, you are not working, it's ok...but I said, it was under my treat. I'm happy because I don't have to cook today, dapat jalan2 and dapat spend time makan beshhh! At least I don't have to think the "geramm condition" I had with my previously-I-fired-maid. LOL

<title>How time flies!</title>
<description>My Aiden is a big boy right now. I miss the time when I was pregnant, when I saw his tiny little feet, and the list goes on. Now he already can lift up his bottom, preparing to crawl. Mama loves Aiden very much!

<title>Let the bread do the talking</title>
<description>I remember during those days when I was working in TM, we always go to mid valley to celebrate lunch. (Ni buat I rasa I miss my collegues ni , I'm not good at keeping touch, but I always remember them) If the time is too short (due to traffic, parking or usually the window shopping :-D), we just tapau the bread at the Bread Talk. And good news, here also got Bread Talk! Bread Talk over here is fully owned by a Singaporean - Saleh bin Lahe Group.

Yum...I love eating the bread at Bread Talk. You can find the Bread Talk cafe at Khalidiya Mall. We went there last week and let the bread do the talking. LOL

<title>Double Date</title>
<description>We went out with Aunty Ian and Aunty Tuyah (bukan antaltuya ok :-D) and meet them at Marina Mall. Promod was on sale, so I bought around a few bajus, and about 2 pieces from all tu bila bawak balik tak puas hati. So my first mission nak pergi exchange baju (here accept exchange and refund within 1 week!). So awal2 jumpa, they all kena teman I exchange baju..Then we went around, we saw this nice sabun's shop. Then we went to the Pucci to find a bag for one of my customer. Dah penat berjalan, then we go to Fudruckers!

Aunty Ian ada baby girl, Wahda and Aunty Tuyah ada toddler girl, Nurin...So kira like Aiden and Izz pergi double date la kan? LOL

<title>Bully</title>
<description>I can't leave Izz alone with Aiden, he will bully his brother. Maybe "bully" is quite a harsh word, but I can't find the right words to determine his behavior towards Aiden. Aiden is already 6 months + now, and he is becoming more playful, and he attracts Izz to become his friend. Aiden will laugh out loud when Izz is playing peek-a-boo with him (Oh, I should record that moment) So, when Izz is bored, he will go to Aiden to play.

I love to see when they are playing together. Their laughter fill our home with joy and happiness. "cloud9: (I hope nothing terrible will happen when they are playing together, InsyaAllah.)

This incident was under my supervision and hubby captured this picture. I mmg risau Izz main tekup2 Aiden, but Aiden pun sama naik laughing bila Izz main peek-a-boo.

This when I put him inside Aiden's crib. He is playing with the bedak, as if dia tolong siapkan Aiden macam I siapkan Aiden lepas mandi LOL. Habis satu hari seluruh rumah smells bedak! Reminds me when my mom said I time kecik2 dulu suka main bedak! LOL Hubby said, Izz ikut I la tu.

I love this picture....

<title>From dust till dawn</title>
<description>Here are 3 basic rules to survive during summer in Abu Dhabi: 8-)

Rule no 1: Never, ever go out in the afternoon.
Rule no 2: Find something interesting to do at home. eg: DVD, cooking, PS3, Wii, Internet, etc
Rule no 3: Be cool and keep up the positive attitude.

This is the 3rd times I go through summer in Abu Dhabi. This year no fuss, no complains, I already get used to it. Even sometimes we are still going out during the day (but we are just going to the mall, not to the park. ) :-D But they usually said, during summer, jadi macam dracula...just go out from dust till dawn. ;-)

<title>Food, glorious food!</title>
<description>Weekend should be a break, but being a mother is a 24x7 job. It's a responsible that neither you can run nor hide from it. Cooking is my job. To make it easy on me, I try to make it fun and exciting eventhough sometimes hate to think the answer to the jackpot question, "what shall I cook for the day?"

During summer, we hate to go out for lunch (sebab panas kan), so we have no other choice, either we order in or I cook. Most of the time, I will cook for lunch, during weekend, in summer time. But this time, I have an idea, to give something to my family...for them to cook for me.. hehehe...

A steamboat!

Recipe Yong Tau Foo
Air
Kicap
Oyster sauce
Stock Ikan Bilis
Garam Gula
Tepung Jagung (dibancuh)
White pepper

Masak air, campur kicap, sos tiram, stock ikan bilis, garam, gula, pepper, and last sekali tepung jagung. Kacau hingga pekat, masukkan sedikit minyak so that dia jadi hitem berkilat

Sambal Yong Tau Foo:
Bawang putih
Bawang merah
Lada kering dikisar
Asam keping
Halia
Garam

Boil some water, masak all the ingredient, sambal masak lama skit mengikut kepekatan yg disukai. Settle...

Sos Steamboat (Rekaan sendiri)
Perencah tom yam adabi (kalau takde, kena tumis bawang, lada, lengkuas, halia, serai, dan sedikit air limau nipis)
Air
Sedikit lengkuas, halia, bawang kisar
Tepung jagung
Daun ketumbar
Bijan

Masak sampai pekat, last sekali letak daun ketumbar dan bijan. Dah...siappp..

<title>Hail to Queen Saba</title>
<description>It took one week for us to plan to go out, shopping for daun. Daun? LOL I was told by my friend that I can get a lot of dauns in Queen Saba (It's a Thai, Indon n Pinoy mini market).

Seriously, after I found this place, cooking has been an easy task for me. All the Malay cooking ingredients such as Daun Kesom, Daun Sup, Petai, Tofu, Tempe, Kailan, Sawi, Serai, Lengkuas, Kuew Teow, Tauge, Telur Masin, Daun Limau Purut, etc, can be found in Queen Saba. I feel relieved and happy when I've found all that items and cooking has been a very fun hobby. :-D Macam Kak Sadie cakap, rasa kaya bila buka peti yg penuh dgn daun! LOL
